Feedback and Testimonials
We're proud to have helped hundreds of residents of Norfolk and Suffolk to feel better about their lives, their life opportunities and their value to society. Whether it's reducing isolation and connecting local people to their community; improving self-confidence and progressing into employment, training or volunteering; learning new skills and meeting new people; improving physical and mental health through meaningful activities, or just getting outside in the fresh air on our beautiful sites, that's what we're here for.

Participating at Appleseed helped me turn my life around when I was really down. They helped me get back on my feet and gave me the confidence to get back into employment.
I didn't think anyone valued me in society, but my time at Appleseed helped me see what I can do. I have now got a job and moved into my own flat and life is much better.
Being here keeps me busy and less lonely. I am happier and I can talk to people without worrying, I like to think that it is making me more outgoing.
Life at Appleseed allows me to work stress free as the day is not stressful and yet remains busy and purposeful.
I feel that I have really contributed here and I am proud that I have made a difference with my skills. Appleseed helps me manage my depression as I can lose myself in the work here.
My mental health has improved so much, and I feel really positive now. I have started volunteering in a local charity shop and feel I am contributing to society. Thank you.
I've never had a job before, but I learnt new skills with Appleseed and got the confidence to apply for work. I now work as a customer assistant in my local hardware shop.
I was referred to Appleseed by my GP when my marriage failed and I felt like I'd lost everything. Appleseed helped me regain my confidence and self-esteem, and after six months I found myself a new job. I was really happy - but sad to say goodbye to the friends I've made here.
I've always enjoyed growing vegetables but I haven't done it since I was diagnosed with depression. Coming to Appleseed helped me rediscover my enjoyment in growing things, and I was amazed to discover how much I could help other people learn by sharing my knowledge. It made me feel valued and appreciated, and I feel much more positive now.
On my first day I didn't want to talk to anyone, but I found out that everyone is friendly and after a while I became comfortable here. I've been visiting for over a year now and I have even made my own veg patch and started growing my own plants at home as the taste is so much nicer.
As an ex-offender I thought no-one would take me on, but Appleseed helped me learn new skills and to trust myself. I now have a job in the garden centre.
I like looking after the chickens most of all. They need me to feed them and water them and look after them, and I can take some eggs home which have amazing yellow yolks.
